While rug colors, sizes, and patterns may vary slightly depending on how your rug is made and the size ordered, we strive to provide the most accurate representation. However, due to different monitor resolutions and lighting, you may notice a slight difference in color.

Each of our handmade rugs is unique, reflecting the artistry and skill of the artisan who weaved it. These individual variations should not be considered defects, but rather part of the charm of a handcrafted piece.

When you first unroll your new rug, you may see some creases and bunching in the pile and around the corners. Rest assured, these waves will flatten within 2-3 weeks as you begin to use your new rug. If you'd like to speed up the flattening process, we have a few tricks you can try.

One method is back rolling: roll the carpet out, then roll it back up with the backside facing up. Let it sit rolled up in reverse for a day or two, or until it flattens out. Another option is to place heavy furniture or objects on the affected areas for a day or two. If the corners are sticking up, curl them back and place heavy objects on the affected areas going the opposite way.

In some cases, you may find it necessary to use heat as a last resort. Find a cleared concrete area, such as a driveway or sidewalk, and place the rug there during dry sunny conditions. Position the rug to receive optimal sunlight for as long as possible, allowing it to absorb the sun's heat for up to 2 hours. If a large concrete patch with optimal sunlight is not accessible, you can flip the rug over and use a hair dryer to heat up the creases. Always hold the hair dryer 7 to 12 inches away from the rug and move it side to side on a medium setting, being cautious as heat can sometimes cause the backing to melt.
